It's been real, it's been fun, and it has certainly been really fun. I leave you now saying thanks for reading my blog and listening to GenX. After 5 years in radio, I am moving to London, England. Keep tuning in to GenX, as I know there are great things happening in the future!

Not sure if anyone out there is or was a fan of Roseanne, but I sure as hell am! When I lived in Oakland I rented every season from the Oakland Public Library just down the street from Lake Merritt.

My sister sent me a BRILLIANT article written by Roseanne Barr about her experiences in the TV industry. Pretty unnerving, but not unexpected. Roseanne is a fantastic woman.

FYI people, I called this WAAAYYYYY back in the day. I KNEW that one day Evaline would get their break. Why? Because they are LEGIT songwriters. LEGIT musicians. CREATIVE PEOPLE. They put their time in, toured HARD, and made QUALITY music.

Now they are getting what they deserve: recognition and props.

Back in the day I saw this band, Evaline, opening for Head Automatica. They blew me away, and have tried to stay in touch with them over the years.

I am very stoked to report that they are BLOWING UP right now. Spin magazine is featuring them in their free download from the iTunes Festival London deal!

These guys are sick. I knew they had something when I first heard some demos off of something called “New Quinn Cuts” a few years before Postpartum Modesty: A Portrait of Skin. Actually, I think the first song I heard of theirs was called “Delicates Max…”or something like that….
