We are a small family owned and run company that has a vision for a new kind of Holiday/Nostalgia event that is advocacy centered and gives back something to its patrons on an emotional, service, and community level.
Our Mission statement for this show is simple: To provide a wholesome all inclusive community event that benefits families, travelers, holiday shoppers and local businesses; and, raises awareness for reading literacy and local charities while providing activities for senior citizens, children and individuals with disabilities.†We will be sponsoring collection sites for a NORTHWEST HARVEST and TOYS FOR TOTS and raising awareness for PUG RESCUE: We will have Elf Pug and Santa Pug at the Farmers Insurance next to the restaurant. 100% of the proceeds from pictures will go to Seattle Pug Rescue and Pacific Pug Rescue. We will have an additional focuses toward the Special Needs community, senior citizens, and student reading literacy. Our event is designed to be inclusive to a diverse customer base; it supports local economies and products, and engages the local community businesses and government in the excitement of a quality family, community and outreach event. We ha ve given out 50 free tickets to the WICS program, the Lighthouse Food program, and to the FIFE Community Center Seniors’ program so that these folks may benefit from our event.
The event will be held in the ballroom at the much beloved Fife landmark, "The Poodle Dog". Karolyn Grimes, who portrayed the little girl Zuzu in the classic movie,  a Wonderful Life; and, who spoke the iconic line, Every Time You Ring A Bell, An Angel Gets His Wings; will be emceeing a screening of the movie and sharing historical commentary, personal anecdotes and memories of the film. Karolyn has a long history advocating for charitable causes and has traveled the world sharing this great movie and its message of hope. The movie will be the culminating event of this very special one day holiday show.
In support of reading literacy, Karolyn will also read, was The Night Before Christmas during the spaghetti feed and before the movie. There will be some childrens books to give away to children from the Fife community. We are also particularly highlighting on welcoming members of the special needs and disabilities community during this portion of the day. Fife Flowers is donating a hundred balloons for the children.
