A New York man's elaborate attempt to avoid his girlfriend left him with a criminal charge this weekend.  Rahmell Pettway was found on a street in Brooklyn on Thursday with his hands and legs tied and his mouth covered with duct tape.  He told police he had been kidnapped last month and held captive for two weeks.  But after the cops started to get suspicious, Pettway confessed that the kidnapping was all a hoax.  He said he had been avoiding his girlfriend for the past two weeks, and he was terrified of facing her.
