In Atlanta man is suing the doctors who removed part of the wrong finger during surgery. Dwight Mitchell was admitted to Grady Memorial Hospital a little more than a year ago so part of his left middle finger could be removed. He had injured it weeks before but it had become infected. Doctors had the correct hand, but instead amputated part of his ring finger. His attorney says he thought he was having a bad dream when he woke up from surgery and realized the mistake. He ended up back under the knife that same day for the correct surgery.
